Our “Modified Solera” style blending program for our Late Harvest Zinfandel is well underway with vintages from 2002 through 2007 melding into complex and decadent layers. Our wine-making team spent many hours perfecting the final blend for our 2008 bottling, resulting in a perfect sweet wine to open and savored.
Notes of rich toffee, caramel, and coconut open on the nose and melt into aromas of mulled plums and figs with hints of blueberry adding layers of depth. Clean and precise on entry, this lush wine coats the palate with thick, ripe plums, stewed fruits and exotic spices while maintaining flawless structure and balance. Enjoy now, through 2015 and beyond.
