Chuck and Anne
McMinn's vision for Vineyard 29 was to create a California mirror
of the classic Old World chateau. To achieve that goal, growth and
the constant pursuit of a consistent level of excellence in our
offerings is expected. The addition of the Aida vineyard as a second
source for premium quality grapes was the first step in Vineyard
29's evolution. The second step in this process was the design and
construction of the estate winery. To allow our wines every advantage
in reaching their ultimate expression in bottle, we feel that a
completely controlled, 100% hands on approach is necessary. Therefore,
in developing the winery plan, we spared no expense in researching
and designing a facility that allows us to strive for perfection
in production; where we restrict outside variables in our winemaking
process to protect the integrity of the fruit down to the smallest
one grape increment, and create wines using a detailed, labor- and
care-intensive approach.
Winemaking
is the ultimate blend of science and nature. Our facility ensures
that those two elements meet in the perfect environment. At Vineyard
29, the state-of-the-art allows a return to tradition, as we use
technology to create wines by Old World means. |
